Bitter Gourd with Turmeric and garlic

Turmeric has been known to be a natural healer and super food, why don”t we add this into our daily cooking ?
A simple stir fry of turmeric with any veggies you favour plus easy to prepare and delicious in taste , wow a win win side dish here ~
Steps:
1- 2 medium size bitter gourd cut into half lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into 3 mm thick slides.
* ( choose a big bitter gourd with broad lines on the surface ,a better choice and a better taste… )
2- blanch bitter gourd then put it under running water for 1 minute, drain and set aside .
3- 3-4 pieces of turmeric and 4-5 garlic , peel and pound into small pieces.
4- Heat up 2 tbsp oil, add garlic and turmeric , stir fry for 1 minute till fragrant …
5- add 2 tbsp black bean sauce and stir fry till fragrant…
6- Add bitter gourd, and mix well.-Cover and cook with medium heat till bitter gourd is dry and soft .( about 1 minute )
-add 1 tbsp brown sugar , mix well and taste.
7- Dish onto a platter or a bowl ,and serve hot.
8- my other choice…a side dish of turmeric with egg plant….
