WHENEVER I HAVE ANY LEFT-OVER MINCE PORK , I WOULD LIKE TO TURN IT INTO THIS SIMPLE SNACK WHICH IS SO APPETIZING AS A STARTER OR A MAIN DISH AS IF YOU HOME ALONE…..
ALL MEAT-BALL LOVERS SHOULD TRY THIS SIMPLE WAY OF SERVING WITH FRESH LETTUCE LEAVES ; A BITE OF FRESHNESS AND CRUNCHY WITH A SAVORY TASTE FOR SURE.
INGREDIENTS :
1 – 300-350 gm minced pork
2 – some lettuce leaves
SEASONING
1 – corn flour 2 tbsp
2 – light soy sauce 1 tbsp
3 – salt and pepper 1 tbsp each
4 – chicken broth 1/2 cup
5 – sesame oil 1 tbsp
6 – some minced scallion + 1 whole egg ( optional ..allergies concern)
STEPS :
1 – mix minced pork with seasoning in a mixing bowl till well- combined.
2 – use hands or spoon to scoop about 1/3 cup of the paste and shape it into a meatball.
3 – put meatballs in the heated wok with a bit more of cooking oil about 3-4 tbsp…-fry with medium heat…
4 – when the bottom side is just set , ( about 1 to 2 minutes..)-carefully roll the ball with a spatula to cook the other side then…-roll to the sides till all sides are set and browned.
5 – transfer browned meatball to a bowl ready to steam…
6 – add water to a steamer and bring to boil…-place the bowl of meatballs on the steaming rack , covered ..and steam 10 minutes with medium high heat.
7 – turn off the heat and rest 5 minutes.
8 – serve warm over a medium size lettuce leave , wrap it over and done…enjoy.😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
