Indonesian Beef Rendang

One of my favorite menu on my guests dinning table 😎

Ingredients :

Beef tenderloin 2 lbs , 1 canned coconut milk , fresh milk 1 cup. 1piece of brown sugar or coconut sugar, (1 tbs sea salt, chili power, curry powder , garlic powder, onion powder ,chopped ginger, lemongrass ,all blend with 1 tbs of veg., oil to form a paste .)
note.. ready made Rendang paste is a good choice too

Steps~
1: Boil beef 5 mins, drain beef in running water 5mins, then rinse , dry and
cut into small cubes .

2: marinade the beef with the herbs , chili paste for at least an hour( I always prefer handy ready made package unless I back in Malaysia for fresh herbs 😜)

3: boil the coconut milk with 3cups of water,cook the marinaded beef
with medium heat for 5-10 mins, then low heat until tender. ( almost 35-45 mins) Add sugar last,and stir well.
4: warm up the fresh milk ( not boil) ,and mix well with the beef, done and serve.
